Face Painting

My mum has her own business called 'Funny Faces' which is face painting for children. She has loads of designs and has been training me up so that I can join her. I have been to several jobs with her and practiced with some of my designs.

Here are some practice designs I done before I went to do my first face painting job.

Here is a tiger design. I looked at several pictures of tigers and noticed that their stripes are around their face and not on their face, so I decided to use a lighter colour (yellow) in the centre and blend it out to an orange around the edges with some black and dark orange stripes.

This is a fantasy design which I created for girls. This is shown with as I have created a flowery pattern and my choice of colours such as the purple petals show that it would appeal to girls.

This design would be used more for halloween. It is more grown up compared to some full face designs as anyone could have it. I done a similar design on myself for halloween one year as shown in the picture below. I used a thin brush to paint the web and spider in black then I outlined it with a white paint to make it stand out.

I have created my own book on the faces I am able to paint.
