A-Level make-up designs for media coursework

As part of my A-Levels, I was asked to create an opening to a thriller for media studies. I designed and applied the make-up for our video and thought of three designs as we had three different characters.


Here I have researched and found some make-up techniques and analysed them. I have compared them to what we may need in our thriller clip to work out if they are what we could use. This first design I found could be used for our protagonist played by Sarah.

This next design could be used for the little girl played by Ellie in our clip.

The last design I have analysed is for our antagonist played by Cj.

After I analysed these pictures, I decided to try out some of my own designs I have created. I recorded tutorials for each design.
